At Crosslink Powder Coating of KC

We operate a large batch convection oven 20' L X 7' H X 7' W so we can handle most jobs. We also have a GRIEVE 48"L X 48" D X 72" H electric oven for ceramic and engine coatings.

We have a state of the art walk-in state HEPA filtered spray booth which filters out discharged air to a 99% efficiency. Making our facility an environmentally friendly company.

We have a charged powder coating gun system (GEMA ). This for quick color change so your part is back to you in minimum time.

At Crosslink Powder Coating, we can provide you with quality powder coating for your race car, hot rod, restoration projects, manufacturer parts, and wrought iron fencing. No quantity to large or to small.

Powder coating not only brings longer life for your parts, but also gives you the professional image you desire. We treat every part as if it were our own, and strive for only the best finish.

For your convenience, we also provide sandblasting. Our blast cabinet is 96"L X 36"H X 35" D. Any parts larger will be sub-contracted out.

 

                 

 

 

                      

 

 

 

General Information -

 

Remember: Glossy while impressive is not always the best finish for your particular part. We highly recommend that you choose a finish that will flatter your parts. Poor castings should be coated with a wrinkle/gator or vein finish. Crosslink can recommend a coating for you.

Highlights on raised surfaces : (valve covers and cylinders will have addition cost.)

Two tone colors will also cost more.

Additional work, that has not been quoted, will be billed at our shop rate of $55.00 per hour.

Group pieces together if you are planning a single color choice. This will avoid extra minimum charges. Minimum charge on powder coating with standard color is $50.00.

Parts must be totally disassembled. Crosslink will not disassemble anything you bring to us (i.e. Seals, bushings, gaskets, bearings and races.

Crosslink has a blasting cabinet profile of 96" L X 36" t X 33" d. Blasting of larger parts will be subcontracted out  at a rate of $75.00 to $150.00 per hour.

All other parts should be clean and free of all dirt, grease and oils. If cleaning is required, we can quote that as a separate cost.

Parts can not contain any bondo or filler. Bondo will ruin the coating. Our process may fill some minor imperfections. Call for details.

Clear coats can be applied over almost all powders for a look of depth and gloss. Clear coating also provides added protection against the suns UV ray's that may discolor finishes if exposed to constant sunlight.

Note: Some colors require a clear coat (i.e. metallics, silver, gold, veins, neons, etc). If you choose to have a clear coat on your parts, you will be charged the " In House Color" pricing for those items.

Powder coating can be applied over old chrome parts . However Crosslink cannot guarantee coatings over chrome.
